The requirements to obtain financing are minimal and make it possible for almost anyone to install a system and start making money rather then giving it to PG&E. Below are the details of the program that we offer.

Financing Program Details

Fire Energy Loan: Max $25,000

Benefits:

  • Flexible loan terms up to 20 years
  • No equity or appraisal required
  • 100% upfront funding
  • No prepayment penalties

 Fire Energy PLUS Loan: Max $15,000 (this loan CAN NOT go ahead of the $25,000 loan)

Benefits:

  • No interest owed if principal balance is paid completely in first 12 months from the date of funding
  • No payment during the first 12 months from the date of funding
  • 100% upfront funding
  • No prepayment penalties

Guidelines:

Qualifications

  • Individual Applicants: Middle credit score of 650 or higher
  • Joint Applicants: Primary Borrower middle credit score of 650 or higher
  • Debt-to-Income Ratio of 45% or under
  • Bankruptcies Discharged 2 years or more
  • If a customer already has 2 mortgages secured to their home, our bank cannot go behind them with our loan. The only exception to this guideline, is if they obtained both mortgages at the same time when they purchased the home.

Documents Needed for Approval

  • Signed and dated Fire Energy Residential Solar Project Application Form with Information Disclosure Authorization ( I.D.A.)
  • Past 2 years of W-2’s (each borrower)
  • Most recent pay stub (each borrower)
  • Recent mortgage statement
  • Signed letter of explanation for any derogatory credit
  • Proof of any open collections paid (if applicable)
  • Estimates describing work to be done and dollar amount required
